Poor Wee Donald

Author:  Dr. Anthony Bryson

Is there a man with a bigger ego or sense of self-importance than Donald Trump?  At a recent commencement speech at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Trump claimed that no politician in history has been treated worse or more unfairly.  Trump followed that up with another early morning tweet.

A witch hunt?  Seriously?  Mr. Trump is being treated unfairly?  Also, the most unfairly of any politician in American history?  Can his ego get any larger?  Can his self-entitlement bubble to surface any quicker?  How about the treatment of these American politicians?  Do the names John F. Kennedy, James A. Garfield, William McKinley, and Abraham Lincoln ring a bell?  How about Robert F. Kennedy, George Moscone, and Harvey Milk?  I’ll even throw populist Huey Long in the mix for good measure.  All of these gentlemen were assassinated for their political beliefs.  They lost their lives for serving the public good.  But Mr. Trump, he’s is being treated unfairly.

Dr. Bryson is an adjunct faculty member at Fielding Graduate University, teaching classes in media and political psychologies.  He is the author of the book, The Trump Card: The Long Game of Discrediting Media and Influencing Elections.
